AWARD CEREMONY'S: B.E.T AWARDS, VMA'S & OSCARS

B.E.T

The B.E.T awards stand for Black Entertainment Televesion, it was established in 2001 to celebrate African American and other ethnic minorities for their role in music, sport, acting and other elements in TV. The award show happens annually and during the show there are various different performances from different artists.

VMA's
This stands for Video Music Awards. As the VMA's are presented by the cable channel MTV, artists are given "MTV Awards" for having what voters consider the best music video for the specific category for example "Best New Upcoming Artist". The first VMA ceremony was held in 1984 in New York.

OSCARS
The Oscars or the Academy Awards are given to actors/actresses for their acting roles in specific movies. The Oscars are organised by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and is made up of professional people within the film business who vote on the people they believe deserve the award.
