FRONT COVER FOR INSPIRE MAGAZINE

At the top of our magazine I have put the masthead “Inspire”. We chose this name because the aim of the magazine was to ‘inspire’ different youths. The colours of the masthead follow the magazines colour scheme, which was mainly relating to burgundy, as this colour is quite well liked within the young people community. I think what went well was the sell lines on the front cover of the magazine as they directly related to what was within the magazine. I also think that the main image was very successful, although in the beginning when printing out the first copy the image came out quite pixelated I went back and uploaded the image again to see if that would better the quality and it did.
I made this front cover through using the software PhotoShop, I chose to use this as I figured it would be easier to PhotoShop the background in attempt to make it white. All images taken for the front cover were done originally and then uploaded onto PhotoShop and then edited on their. I also chose to rotate the image and flip it upside down as it would create quite a quirky and different style which reflects what the magazine is about.
