A teenager has been killed and two others injured after a fight broke out at a nightclub.
Police and ambulance crews were called to Society nightclub in Tower Street, Coventry, at 02:00 GMT.
"An 18-year-old man from Coventry was found fatally injured outside the club and later pronounced dead in hospital," a police spokesman said.
Another 18-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries and a 17-year-old boy was also hurt.
Tower Street was expected to remain closed for most of Sunday while forensic investigations take place.
Anyone who was in the nightclub who witnessed the disorder is urged to contact West Midlands Police on 101 or Crimestoppers.
I believe that in night clubs the level of security should be increased in order to protect these things from happening again, especially to people of a young age.
